Dr. Arndt grew up in New Jersey and went to college for two years in Ithaca, N.Y. before getting tired of the harsh winters. He transferred to UCLA and spent 3 years there, changing his major his senior year to Kinesiology/exercise physiology.
It wasn’t until he was seriously injured playing Lacrosse that Dr. Arndt began to think of Chiropractic as a profession. After graduating from UCLA he attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic where he finished a five academic year program in three and a half years. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, top 1% in his class.
Dr. Arndt practiced for one year in California but decided to move to Virginia and began his practice in 1987. Since that time he has evaluated and successfully treated thousands of patients. Dr. Arndt initially practiced Chiropractic using a technique that rapidly removed pain from people’s acute and chronic pain conditions but was frustrated by the return of symptoms. Seven years ago he trained to use a technique that can correct spinal conditions like braces are used to straighten teeth. This has been a breakthrough in the treatment of patients as the spine is changed. Less stress is placed upon the structure of the spine and therefore corrects the problem.
Dr. Arndt routinely takes postgraduate courses to enhance his ability to treat even the most difficult cases. His ability to try new yet trusted techniques is why Dr. Arndt stands apart from other Chiropractic care.
Dr. Arndt has been married for sixteen years and has three daughters. Family and community are very important to him and he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. Dr. Arndt belongs to the American Chiropractic Association, Northern Virginia Chiropractic Society. He is the past Vice President and an active member of the Rotary Club of Sterling. He also is involved in, or sponsors special and charitable events within the community.
